Eliot Shaw, recently divorced from his wife and now living with his younger brother, Edward. Throughout his youth he maintained he was not gay, but now he’s finally admitted he is. Takes Edward’s good-natured teasing well, and is looking to start afresh, looking for his own home, although not sure yet if he is ready to date or see anyone seriously. Doesn’t yet know his brother is a superhero. |
Simone Weaver’s second in command. A bright, dedicated man who was passed over for promotion and has a chip on his shoulder. He and Simone slowly learn to work together despite the fact he thinks he should have gotten her job. |
It's lonely living forever and the years have taken their toll on Shi. He needs someone to care about. Someone intelligent, willing to accept Shi for the prejudiced and bad-tempered man he is. He needs someone who can deal with his death wish and anchor him to the world as it is rather than how it was. |
The men and women who protect Axis city. Some of them are corrupt, taking kick-backs from the deputy mayor and Alexander Moretti. Others may be Superheroes themselves, trying to fit into the departments new policy. Or they may be simply trying to make Axis a better place. |
Editor of the Axis City Daily News, owned by Alexander Moretti. A brash, uncomplicated person who follows the orders of the owner to smear superheroes and keep up the pressure of a campaign against them. |
New to the police force, this man or woman is taken under Simone Weaver’s wing. Becomes aware that there is serious corruption in the department and is even tempted to join in. |
A Super Hero, who turned traitor for reasons unknown. Now a member of Moretti's circle of Villains, but is their concious making their decision difficult to live with? |
Other reporters for the newspaper – i.e. sports writer. Could be heroes or villains themselves in disguise. May or may not know about their boss’s shadowy underworld dealings. |
Alias of "Orion"; a test subject of Dr Maria Rios, responsible for the death of both Dr and Mr Rios, Adalene's parents. He knows the truth about her family and what happened to her. Preferably be a super villain or mundane. |
They've never met in person, but Shi does have an agent selling his paintings for him. To the agent, Shi presents the face of a shut in, but that doesn't stop his agent from trying to convince him to get out and come to some gallery openings. |
A trustworthy, brilliant science focused man or woman to work beneath King as his head of lab testing? They'd have to know of his illegal activities, so he'd have to have a huge secret on them (blackmail) or (more likely) they're in league with him, either as a human or another villain in their own right. May have grown up a child of privilege with him, or might be a servant's kid, someone who is actually a true friend to King? Plenty of room for negotiation. |
Dating Dylan Stone’s 22 year old daughter. A super who’s not got complete control of his powers yet and ends up causing damage when he tries to rescue people. Dylan is attempting to have him arrested, unaware that his daughter is dating him. |
